Shah Alam, 10 August 2025 – Kawai Piano Malaysia is proud to have sponsored the Raise The Star Malaysia Grand Final Concert at the illustrious Royal Theatre Shah Alam. The event marked the finale of an inspiring eight-week journey that began on 22 June 2025, celebrating the meeting of vision, mentorship, and rising talent.
A Fresh Take on Talent Discovery
Unlike traditional competitions, Raise The Star Malaysia placed the spotlight on five distinguished Malaysian composers—Ajai, Audi Mok, Aina Abdul, Shila Amzah, and Ikhwan Fatanna—who mentored finalists while crafting original songs that reflected their artistry.
From thirty hopefuls across the nation, the finalists battled through eight emotion-filled concerts of solos and duets, guided by their mentors and cheered on by hosts Alif Satar and Sherry Alhadad.
The Piano on Stage
Throughout the finale, the Kawai DG30 digital grand piano supported performances with its refined tone and elegant presence. Composer and music director Ajai reflected on the experience:
